Asante Market Basket

A beautifully handwoven basket made from natural sisal. Perfect for the market, beach, everyday errands or weekends away. 

All baskets in our Asante Collection are handmade by widows and single mothers supported by the Muhoroni Peoples Foundation in Western Kenya. Each basket is a celebration of colour, creativity and purpose, while also creating a sustainable source of income that helps the women support their families.

Every basket carries the name of the woman who made it, helping us celebrate the maker behind the product and share her story.

Each basket takes days to make by hand, reflecting the time, skill and care that goes into every piece.
